Picture Book
Creation of Physical Media

The Bad Apple picture book was handmade by the artist. Each page is printed individually in a landscape A5 size format and glued back-to-back to create one large signature which contains 52 pages, including 48 pages for the illustrations depicting the story, 2 pages comprising of the copyright and title page, and 2 page comprising of credits and special thanks.βThe inner pages were printed on 100gsm paper. The cover page was created by wrapping glossy paper on 3 pieces of board (2 for the cover and 1 for the spine) that were cut to size for the book. Finally, the signature was glued to the spine of the book to create this picture book.
Promotional Materials
Animated trailer and promotional poster to raise awareness for the picture book in a marketing context. Its objectives are to capture the style of the picture book in a easy-to-view way, give a sneak peek into the contents of the book, and readers should know the topic of the book with one look.

This series of posters were made to appeal to teenage students to have responsible, safe sex. They juxtapose common scenes/things that students would see in school with that of parenting, babies and starting a family to show students an exaggerated reality of what life will be like if they have a child as a teenager.β
The captions are intended to be attention-grabbing, so that students will want to pay attention to an otherwise awkward and usually avoided topic.
The posters also have a QR code that links to BABES's website, so that people can find out more about teenage pregnancy.
These posters can be placed in schools, or as advertisements at bus stops or MRT stations near schools where students will often see them. Through this, they will be reminded of the possibility of teenage pregnancy and would be more responsible if they choose to engage in sexual activity.
