About Me

Hi! I'm Jade, aka Vincent or Maro to some. I'm a Singapore-based illustrator who specialises in storytelling and world building, and I love filling in all the little details.  

I've always created stories and characters, ever since I was young. There's just something fantastical about being immersed in a story and living through a character's eyes. Illustration was the most intuitive way to deliver my mind's image into the world. As I grew older and learnt more, I also took interest in other mediums, like film, animation, and games - anything that satisfies my craving for adventure.  

Other than illustration, I am also interested in pop-culture and fashion, and am always up-to-date with new trends (which are, of course, reflected in my illustrations as well.) As a creative thinker, I am always thinking of different, never-before-seen ways to express myself. In particular, I am inspired by Japanese decora fashion, as well as the Goth and punk cultures.
